I usually don’t do the April Fools thing because after putting thought into a gag or trick, it ends up being rather lame. That is not to say my latest joke was funny. It may not have been lame but it falls into the category of odd, to be sure. I decided to go with a bobble-head/author theme (see link to joke hereà http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=687003276&aid=25602#!/photo.php?fbid=10150141695603277&set=a.14169813276.25602.687003276&theater ) damn that a long link, no one will ever type all that!
Anyway, I tried to make fun of writers in general, not to imply that all writers have social hang-ups, but I certainly could have gone a bit further with the joke beside broken whisky bottles as accessories. Many great writers of the past have had histories that are, at the least, colorful.
So take heart. While your finger is positioned over the key to delete me as your friend, truthfully this was probably a once-in-a-lifetime thing: me coming up with an April Fools Joke and posting it on Facebook. Just the same, don’t un-friend me. Besides, my attempts at humor makes your uncle seem funny!
