Hibernation

Most mammals hibernate in the winter.  I myself have chosen to hibernate over the warm months.  As you may have guessed, my blog has been in serious neglect over the past several months.  With work and school and outdoor stuff, I have not had much time to devote to author stuff.  Writing fiction?  Forgetaboutit! I do what many writers do; think about the next chapter and what the primary character will do.   It’s not really work, but it is a good substitute for the guilt & shame ridden.
Honestly, my writing goes into hibernation as well.  There is just something about a wet, cold morning, watching leaves blow off a tree across the street and people dodging icy raindrops to put one in the mood to curl up to the PC and start hitting the keys. I can honestly say that my brain works better during the cold months and here in SW Pennsylvania, that season goes from September to about May.  Nine months of productivity!
Since September is only a few weeks away, it will soon be time to  wake up and be productive.
